Joining the Queens’ Court is a prestigious opportunity to build lifelong friendships and create cherished memories while proudly serving our community. As a representative of the Comal County Fair & Rodeo, you will be a brand ambassador showcasing our heritage through public appearances across the region.
Eligibility
Contestants must be:
- Unmarried and without dependents
- Reside in Comal County or attend a school located in Comal County (including all of NBISD and CISD)
- In their sophomore or junior year at the beginning of the fall semester
- Applicant must be a natural-born female and remain a biological female for the duration of the term
- Willing to speak in public, interact with the community, and be committed to promoting the values of the Comal County Fair & Rodeo Association
Application, photos, and sponsorships must be received before August 31st.
Contest Details
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Hidden Gem of Gruene, the Candidates will begin their day with a mixer with the outgoing Court and the Judges for the Contest, after which, each Candidate will have a private interview with the Judges. Later that evening, the presentation of the Candidates and the selection of the Queen, Princess, and Duchess will take place.
Contestants will be evaluated on their poise, personality, and presentation during both the interview segment and their time on stage.
Admission is $5.00 for ages 6 and up.
