Wildlife Exhibit

The Wildlife Exhibit is sponsored by the Comal County Fair Association.
Wildlife entries will be accepted between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25th.
All entries must be claimed between 8 a.m. and noon on Monday,September 30th Entries can also be picked up between 6 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, September, 29th, after completion of the raffle drawing.
Trophies and tri-color ribbons will be awarded for Best in Category. Ribbons will also be awarded for first, second and third-place. A one day grounds admission pass will be given for each entry accepted. There will also be a special prize drawing for all entrants.

1) Best Comal County Whitetail Deer (2022-2023 season)
2) Best Comal County Whitetail Deer (2021 and past)
3) Best Hill Country Whitetail Deer (2022-2023) {North Zone}
4) Best Hill Country Whitetail Deer (2021 and past ) {North Zone}
5) Best South Texas Whitetail Deer (2022-2023) {South Zone}
6) Best South Texas Whitetail Deer (2021 and past ) {South Zone}
7) Best Mule Deer
8) Best Freshwater Fish
9) Best Snake
10) Best Javelina/Wild Hog
11) Best Elk
12) Best Bird
13) Best Wildcat
14) Best Sheep
15) Best Exotic
16) Best Youth Whitetail (15 yrs. and under at time of entry)
17) Best Saltwater Fish
18) Best Antelope
19) Best Youth Fish (15 yrs. and under at time of entry)
20) Best Unusual
21) Best Women Whitetail Deer
Horns will be judged on Widest Spread, Most Points, Most Uniform Horns, and the Mount in general.
Fish and Snakes will be judged on size and the way they are mounted.
No unnatural mounts will be accepted.
Photos of the trophy winners will be taken Saturday, September 28th at a time to be announced.
