The contest is open to all private school, Comal ISD and New Braunfels ISD “kindergarten” students. Entries should be made out of a shoe box with any theme.
Shoe box size requirements:
No higher than 16 inches
No longer than 18 inches
No wider than 12 inches
NO CANDY ALLOWED ON FLOATS
Awards:
There will be three winners – Most Beautiful, Most Creative Use of Materials, Most Unique and New Braunfels Heritage Category.
Each winner will receive a trophy and have their picture taken Saturday, Sept. 28 time to be announced.
How to enter:
Bring your child’s float to the Comal County Fairgrounds Agricultural Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 25, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Please put the name and phone number of the child on the bottom of the float so the winners can be notified.
Judging will be conducted Wednesday evening with winners announced on Thursday, Sept. 25.
Floats can be picked up after 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 29th (not any earlier) or on Monday, September 30th, between 8 a.m. and noon. We are not responsible for floats left after this time.
