SCHOOL AND GROUP PROJECT
(for Elementary Schools, Child Care Centers, and Private School classes ages 12 months through grade 3)
All class/group projects will be accepted on Wednesday, September 23rd, in the Arts and Crafts Building, under the Art, Photography and School Groups Division, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. All entries must be secure, sturdy and mounted on a standard 22 inch by 28 inch poster board, and READY TO HANG.
All entries must follow the theme “My Fair- My Community”. Paper clips and scotch tape WILL NOT HOLD a display together for the duration of the fair because of the extreme heat and humidity in the buildings so please avoid using these materials.
No scrapbooks, club books, group books, compiled books or “BOOKS” of any kind will be accepted. All entries must be picked up on Sunday, September 27th, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or on Monday, September, 28th, between 8 a.m. and noon.
Entries will be discarded after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September, 28th
Each entry will receive a participation ribbon for the project. Teachers please add a class roster and a cell phone number and email for the teacher to the back of your project before you enter it.
Judges will select a first, second and third place entry. The winning classes will receive 1 day passes for each of their class participants. The Chairperson for Art, Photography and School Groups will deliver the passes to the winning class(es) to the school on the Thursday of the Fair.
Please read the directions listed above for both Art and Photo for School Groups carefully so your students will not be disappointed.
Please remember, no “books” of any kind will be accepted. Flimsy projects or projects help together with paperclips will not be displayed.
