Competition is open to the following counties: Comal, Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays, Blanco, Kendall, Kerr, Bandera, Medina, Atascosa, Wilson, Gonzales, Caldwell, Travis, Burnet, Llano, Gillespie.
1. All exhibitors and breeding cattle are subject to the General Livestock Rules No. 1-22.
2. Entry fee is $30 per head until Sept. 15th. $35 entry fee after deadline. A copy of the registration papers must be sent in with the entry fee.
3. Registration paper reflecting exhibitor ownership by Sept. 1st. Original registration paper must be provided upon check-in to the Livestock Office and tattoos will be verified during steer weigh in. The classes listed below are offered for Horned and Polled Herefords, Angus, Brahman, Santa Gertrudis, Brangus, Charolais, and other heifers. Each breed having 6 or more entries will be shown separately. Breeds with less than 6 entries will compete in American, British or European Age Classes. No animals over 37 months of age or under 5 months of age. The top blue ribbon heifer of each breed or division will compete for Champion Female.
