School & Group Projects

Date: September 2012

(for Elementary Schools, Child Care Centers, and Private School classes ages 12 months through grade 3)

CHAIRPERSON: Melanie Wolf

CO-CHAIR:Victoria Wolf

All class/group projects will be accepted on Wednesday, Sept. 26, in the Arts and Crafts Building between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. All entries must be secure, sturdy and mounted on a standard 22 inch by 28 inch poster board, and ready to hang. All entries must follow the theme “A Day at the Fair!”. Paper clips and scotch tape will not hold a display together for the duration of the fair because of the extreme heat and humidity in the buildings so please avoid using these materials.

No scrapbooks, club books, group books, compiled books or “BOOKS” of any kind will be accepted. All entries must be picked up on Sunday, September 30, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or on Monday, October 1, between 8 a.m. and noon.

Entries will be discarded after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1

Each entry will receive a participation ribbon for the project. Teachers please bring a class roster from your school with you as you enter your class project. Upon entry, 1 day pass for each student who worked on the project and is listed on your roster will be provided.

Judges will select a first, second and third place entry. Please contact Kelly Mochel (830-606-5455) if you have any questions regarding entering a class or group project. Please read the directions listed above carefully so your students will not be disappointed.

Please remember, no “books” of any kind will be accepted. Flimsy projects or projects help together with paperclips will not be displayed.
